To Find : the value of x

Solution:

AB || CD

=> ∠HGE = 85°  ( corresponding angles)

∠HGE + ∠HGX = 180°   linear pair

=>  85° + ∠HGX = 180°

=>  ∠HGX =95°

∠CHX = ∠HGX  + x  ( exterior angle of triangle = Sum of opposite two interior angles)

=> 115°  = 95°  +  x

=> x = 20°
