so, <ABD = <BDC = x (alternate angles)
z = 8y/3 and x = 4y/3
so, in ∆BDC-
y + z + x = 180°
y + 8y/3 + 4y/3 = 180
(3y + 8y + 4y)/3 = 180
15y/3 = 180
5y = 180
y = 36°
so, x = (4*36)/3 = 48°
and, z = (8*36)/3 = 96°
Thus, <ABC = x + y =36 + 48 = 84°
<BCD = z = 96°
In ∆ABD, <BAD + x + 72 = 180
<BAD + 48 + 72 = 180
<BAD + 120 = 180
Thus, <BAD = 60°
