In ️ABC and ️DCB,

AB=DC (given)

ACB=DBC (angles in the segment are equal)

DB=AC (given)

By SAS congruence rule,

️ABC=DCB

Given

∆ABC & ∆DCB lie on same base.

AB = DC & DB = AC

To prove

∆ABC ≅ ∆DCB

Proof

In ∆ABC & ∆DCB,

AB = DC [given]

DB = AC [given]

BC = BC [common]

So, ∆ABC ≅ ∆DCB by SSS similarity criteria
