In the given figure, ∠ABC = ∠DCB = 90° AB = 6, DC = 8 then find A(∆ABC)/A(∆DCB)

=> area of ∆ABC = 1/2(AB × BC)

=> 1/2(6 × BC)

similarly,

NOW,

(area of∆ABC) / (area of ∆DCB) = [1/2(6 × BC) / 1/2(8 × BC)]

=> (6×BC)/(8×BC)

=> 6/8
