Answer:

In triangle BCD and triangle CDE

BD = CE( given)

angle DBC = ECB(as AB and AC are produced to D and E respectively )

and,

BC = BC ( common)

therefore ,

BCD congruent CDE by S.A.S criteria.

hence,

BE = CD

proved,
