in the given figure,ABC is an isosceles triangle in which AB=AC Also, D is a point such that BD=CD.Prove that AD bisect angle A and angle D.

In triangle ABD and triangle ACD
AB=AC
BD=CD
AD=AD(common)
therefore...triangle ABD is congruent to traingle ACD
hence now since both the triangles are congruent and AD is common so we can say that AD bisects angle A and angle D
