Answer:

Here First we have to find the value of each angle

In a linear pair angle 1 + angle 2 = 180

Linear Pair means when one line is drawn on a Horizontal line To form 2 angles then the sum of those 2 angles is always 180 degree (image also given).

There fore;

Angle A + 70 = 180  (linear pair)

Angle A = 180 - 70

Angle A = 110

Similarly;

Angle B + 80 = 180 (linear pair)

Angle B = 180 - 80

Angle B = 100

Similarly;

Angle C + 70 = 180 (linear pair)

Angle C = 180 - 70

Angle C = 110

As we know,

The sum of all angles of a quadrilateral = 360

There fore;

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C + Angle D = 360

110 + 100 + 110 + Angle D = 360

320 + Angle D = 360

Angle D = 320 - 360 = 40

There fore;

Angle D + x = 180

40 + x = 180

x = 180-40

x = 140
