⇒ All lengths are equal

⇒ All lengths are 25 cm

⇒ The diagonals intersect at a right angle, therefore half of the diagonals and one side make a right angle triangle.


Find Diagonal AC:

Given that AO = 24 cm

AC = AO x 2

AC = 24 x 2 = 48 cm


Find half of the diagonal BO:

a² + b² = c²

24² + b² = 25²

b² = 25² - 24²

b² = 49

b = √49

b = 7 cm


FInd BD:

BD = 2 x BO

BD = 2 x 7 = 14 cm


Find the sum of the diagonals:

Sum = 48 + 14 = 62 cm


Answer: The sum of the diagonals is 62 cm
