In the given figure, ABCD is a parallelogram.
DL and BM are drawn perpendiculars to the
diagonal AC. Prove that:
(i) DCL = BAM and
(ii) DL = BM

In ΔABM and ΔCLD, ∠ALD = ∠CMB (Each 90°) AB = CD (Opposite sides of parallelogram ABCD) ∠BAM = ∠LCD (Alternate interior angles for AB || CD) ∴ ΔABM ≅ ΔCLD (By AAS congruency) BM = LD (By CPCT)
