Given :  ABCD is a parallelogram

Ar(ABCD)  = 66 cm²

BF = BD

To Find : Ar (ΔBFC)

Solution:

Diagonal Divided parallelogram in two equal area triangle

=> Ar(ΔABD) =  Ar(ΔBCD) = Ar(ABCD)  /2

=>  Ar(ΔABD) =  Ar(ΔBCD) = 66 /2

=>  Ar(ΔBCD)  = 33 cm²

BD = BF

=> D is mid point of DF

Hence CB is median of ΔBFC

Median Divides triangle in 2 Equal area

Hence

Ar  (ΔBFC)   =  Ar(ΔBCD)

=> Ar  (ΔBFC)   = 33 cm²

Ar  (ΔBFC)  is 33 cm²
