HERE IS YOUR PERFECT ANSWER:
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

GIVEN: ABCD a parallelogram.
AB = 8.5 cm
TO FIND: Length of BC, CD and AD.
SOLUTION: AB = 8.5 cm ( given )
Therefore, CD = 8.5 cm ( opposite
sides of parallelogram)
Also, perimeter = 24 cm ( given )
Therefore, 8.5 + 8.5 + x + x = 24 cm
( opposite side of parallelogram are
equal I.e if one side is x the other
side would also be x )
≈ 17 + 2x = 24cm
≈ 2x = 24 - 17 cm
≈ 2x = 7 cm
≈ x = 7/2 cm
Therefore x = 3.5 cm
So, BC = 3.5 cm
AD = 3.5cm
