Question : In the given figure ABCD is a parallelogram then the length of ap is______ AC = 4√3cm, DC = 10cm angle D = 60°

Solution : ABCD is a parallelogram.

So, BC = AD = 4√3 cm

Now AP = AD sin60° [ as sinD = AP/AD]

So, AP = 4√3 × √3/2 = 6m

Therefore the length of AP is 6 cm.

Also Area of parallelogram = base × height

= DC × AP

= 10 × 6

= 60 cm²
