We know that

Area of Δ ABD =

2

1

b×h

It can be written as

Area of Δ ABD =

2

1

×BD×AL

By substituting the values

Area of ΔABD =

2

1

×64×16.8

On further calculation

Area of ΔABD=537.6cm

2

We know that

Area of Δ BCD =

2

1

×b×h

It can be written as

Area of Δ BCD =

2

1

×BD×CM

By substituting the values

Area of ΔBCD=

2

1

×64×13.2

On further calculation

Area of ΔBCD=422.4cm

2

So we get area of quadrilateral ABCD = Area of Δ ABD + Area of Δ BCD

By substituting the values

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = 537.6 + 422.4

By addition

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = 960cm

2

Therefore, the area of quadrilateral ABCD is 960cm
