In the given figure, ABCD is a rectangle in which segment AP and AQ are drawn such that angle APB = angle AQD = 30°. Find the length of (AP+AQ).

In right angle triangle ABP,

Sin theta = opposite/Hypotenuse

Hence,

sin 30 degree = 50/AP

1/2=50/AP

AP=50*2

AP= 100 cm

Also, Similaraly In right angle triangle ADQ

sin 30 degree = 20/AQ

AQ = 40 cm
