In the given figure, ABCD is a rectangle with length (p^2q-5) and breadth (q^2+4p)
Find the area of shaded triangle PAB.

Answer:

area of rectangle = (p^2q-5)(q^2+4p)

Since they are between same parallels and on common base AB, area of triangle is half that of rectangle = (p^2q-5)(q^2+4p)/2
