In the given figure, ABCD is a square of side 30m. Find the area of quadrilateral BEDF.​

Area of while square =S×S

=30×30

=900m²

area \: of \: triangle \: fcb \: and \: and \: aeb \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \times 2

Note: Both triangles have same base and height. so we multiply it by 2.

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \times 2 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 15 \times 30 \times 2 = 450m^{2}

Area of quad. DEBF= TOTAL AREA - AREA OF UNSHADED PORTION

900m² - 450m²= 450m² ans.
