Area of the square=7x7

                              =49 sq. cm

Area of the quadrant= πr²/4

                                  =(22/7)×7²/4

                                  =38.5 sq.cm

Therefore, area of the shaded region = 49-38.5

                                                               =10.5 sq. cm
