THIS SHOWS THAT

AD = 9cm = CE = 9cm

So , Now , Area of Trapezium :-

Formula :-

1/2 × sum of || sides × distance b/w || sides

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (ab + dc)  \times ce \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times( 40 + 28) \times 9 \\  \\  \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times 68 \times 9 \\  \\  = 306  \: {m}^{2}
