Answer:

Since it is a rhombus,therefore diagonals bisect each other

AO=CO

BO=DO

In triangle BOC

By pythagoreas theorem...

The length of the diagonal BD is 16 cm.

Step-by-step-explanation:

NOTE : Kindly refer to the attachment.

Additional Information:

1. Rhombus:

It's one of the types of quadrilateral.

If all the four sides of a quadrilateral are of equal measures, then the quadrilateral is called as Rhombus.

2. Properties of Rhombus:

1. All sides are of equal measures.

2. Opposite angles of rhombus are congruent.

3. Diagonals of rhombus bisect each other.

4. Diagonals of rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other. [ Diagonals bisect in 90° ]

3. Pythagoras Theorem:

This theorem was given by a mathematician Pythagoras.

This theorem states the relation between hypotenuse and other two sides in a right angled triangle.

Pythagoras Theorem:

( Hypotenuse )² = ( Side one )² + ( Side two )²
