in ΔBDL and ΔCDM,

∠BLD=∠CMD(both equal to 90°)

∠BDL=∠CDM(vetically opposite angles are equal)

BD=CD(AD is median)

∴ΔBDL ≡ ΔCDM (AAS conguency)

⇒BL=CM (cpct,corresponding parts of congruent triangles)

hence proved
