= 28 cm

Perimeter =sum of the sides
=4+10+12+4+8
=38 cm
Area =(First make it into two rectangles by drawing one line and a square by drawing one more line)
Area of rectangle 1 = 4×6=24 cm^2
Area of rectangle 2= 4×8=32 cm^2
Area the square formed = 4^2=16 cm^2
So,area of the total figure = 24+32+16=72 cm^2
