in the given figure angle 1 is equal 55 degree angle 2 is equal to 20 degree and angle 3 is equal to 35 degree and Angle 4 is equal to 145 degree prove that a b is parallel to CD

as angle 1 = angle 2+angle 3,we can say that ab parallel to mn
angle 3+angle 4 =180 degrees. so mn parallel to CD. as ab parallel to mn . ab parallel to cd

AB || CE and BC is transversal

then, angle B = y = 70° ( alternate interior angle)

now ,

angle BCA + angle BCE + angle ECD = 180°

( as ACD is a straight line )

z°+y°+35° = 180°

z° +70°+35° = 180°

z° = 180°-105° = 75°

sum of all angles of triangle = 180°

x°+ y°+z° = 180°

x° + 70°+75° = 180°

x° = 180°-145° = 35°
