By seeing the figure, we can easily say that :-

=》 2x = y ( vertically opposite angles )

And in the same way, we can also say that :-

=》 z = 90° + x ( vertically opposite angles ) ...(1)

Now, we can say that :-

2x + z = 180° ( Linear pair )

Solve it further :-

=》 2x + 90° + x = 180° ( Due to (1) )

Take all the constants to the right and the variable in the left and then solve them together :-

=》 3x = 180° - 90°

Last one more step :-

=》 x = $\tt{\frac{90}{3}}$

There you get your answer to be :-

=》 $\boxed{\tt{x = 30}}$°

Thus, the value of /_x = 30°
