In the given figure, AOB is a straight line and the ray OC stands on

it.

If ZAOC = (2x -10)° and BOC = (3x +20)°, find the value ofx.

Also, find 2AOC and 2BOC.

Answer:

AOC is a straight line

angle AOC+ angle BOC=180°

2x-10+3x+20=180

5x-10=180

5x=170

x=34

angle AOC=58°

ANGLE BOC= 122°
