Given that AOB is a straight line.

angle AOC = x + 35° , angle BOC = 2x + 25°

angle AOC + angle BOC = 180°

( Forms a straight line AOB )

x + 35° + 2x + 25° = 180°

3x + 60° = 180°

3x = 180° - 60°

3x = 120°

therefore, x = 40°

(a).angle AOC = 40° + 35°

= 75°

(b).angle BOC = 2(40°) + 25°

= 80° + 25°

= 105°

therefore, angle AOC = 75°

angle BOC = 105°
