BC = ED
= 15m
AD = AB - EC
= 26m - 18m
= 8m
By using Pythagorean theorem,
AD²+ ED² = AE²
⇒ 8² + 15² = AE²
⇒ 64 + 225 = AE²
⇒ 289 = AE²
⇒ √289 = AE
⇒ 17 = AE
