The value of the angles is as follows:

x = 50 degrees

y = 60 degrees

z = 50 degrees

GIVEN: A diagram along with some information like BD parallel CE and Angle ABD = 70 degrees.
TO FIND Value of x, y, z.
SOLUTION:
As we are given in the question,

BD parallel CE

Also, According to the diagram,

Two parallel lines are intersected by two transversal and different angles are formed:

Also,

∠ADB = 70°

As we know,

∠ADB = 180° - 120°                  [LINEAR PAIR]

∠ADB = 60°

Also,

In triangle ABD,

x + ∠ABD + ∠ADB = 180°                      [ ANGLE SUM PROPERTY ]

x + 70 + 60 = 180

x = 180 - 130

x = 50°

Now,

∠ABD = z = 70°                 [ Alternate Angle ]

And,

y = ∠DEC = ∠ADB = 60°

Therefore,

The value of the angles is as follows:

x = 50 degrees

y = 60 degrees

z = 50 degrees
