Birds and bat wings are analogous i.e. they have separate evolutionary origins but are superficially similar because they have both experienced natural selection that shaped them to play a key role in flight.

Importance:

Analogous organs are the result of the convergent evolution . It is the evolution in which different structures evolve for same function and hence , have similarity . It can be said that above organisms had different structures but they came in the same environment and evolved to perform same function.

Just for knowledge: Interestingly though bird and bat wings are analogous, their forelimbs are homologous.
