∠G = ∠F  = 90°

=> Δ BDG   ≈ Δ CEF

=> BD/CE  = BG/ EF  = DG/ FC

=> BG/ EF  = DG/ FC

=> BG * FC = EF * DG

EF = DG = FG  ( sides of square)

=> BG * FC = FG * FG

=> BG * FC = FG²
