AD = 1/2 AC= 6 cm
AO = 1/2 AB = 10 cm
Now in right angle triangle AOD,
By Pythagoras theorem
AD square + OD square = AO square
=> OD = root ( 100-36) = root (64) = 8 cm
AO = 1/2 AB = 10 cm
Now in right angle triangle AOD,
By Pythagoras theorem
AD square + OD square = AO square
=> OD = root ( 100-36) = root (64) = 8 cm
