Given,

• ABD is a ∆le

• AC is the altitude drawn perpendicular to BD

• & BC = CD

☞ Length of AC = 13cm

☞ Area of Triangle = 36 cm²

Let, BC = CD = 'x', Then, BD = '2x'

We Know That

\boxed{\sf{Area\;of\;∆le = \frac{1}{2}×Base×Height}}

Base = 2x

→\;{\bf{\frac{1}{\cancel{2}}×13×{\cancel{2}}x = 36}}

→\;{\bf{13× x = 36}}

→\;{\bf{x = \cancel{\frac{36}{13}}}}

→\;{\bf{x = 2.76}}

Therefore, Length of BC ◕➜ \fbox\red{2.76cm}

Hope It Helps You ✌️
