\sf\small\underline \orange{Given:-}

 \sf \rightarrow \: side \: of \: square \:  = 1cm

\sf\small\underline \orange{Solution:-}

  \dashrightarrow\sf \: Area  \: of  \: the  \: square  \: ABCD = 10 × 10 = 100cm^2

\dashrightarrow \sf Area \:  of  \: the  \: region \:  R= Area  \: of \:  the \:  region  \: R.</p><p></p><p>

=Area of square-Area of two semicircles of radius 5cm

 \sf= 100 - 2 [ \frac{1}{2}  π (5)^2 ] = 100 -25π

=Area of square -Area of two semicircle of radius 5cm.

\sf= 100 - 2 [ \frac{1}{2}  π (5)^2 ] = 100 - 25π

So, Area of the shaded region.

Solving,

 \sf \:  = 100−(100−25π+100−25π)</p><p></p><p></p><p>

 \sf \:  = 50π−100

 \dashrightarrow   \sf \red{57}  {cm}^{2}  \dashleftarrow
