Answer: C = 4\mu F

Explanation:

Given that,

C_{1}=C_{3} = C_{4} = C_{5} = 4 \mu F

C_{2} = 10\mu F

According to figure;

This circuit  follows balance whetstone bridge.

So, C_{2} neglects.

Now, C_{4} and C_{3} are in series.

So, \dfrac{1}{C'} =\dfrac{1}{4} + \dfrac{1}{4}

\dfrac{1}{C'} = \dfrac{1}{2}

C' = 2 \mu F

Now, C_{1} and C_{5} are in series.

So, \dfrac{1}{C''} =\dfrac{1}{4} + \dfrac{1}{4}

\dfrac{1}{C''} = \dfrac{1}{2}

C'' = 2 \mu F

Now, C' and C'' are in parallel

Then, the equivalent resistance between P and Q is

C = C'+C''

C = 2\mu F+2\mu F

C = 4\mu F

Hence, the equivalent resistance between P and Q is C = 4\mu F.
