Solution:

From given, we have the data as follows.

The mass, m = 10 kg attached at one end of the weightless rod and the spring constant, k = 1000 N/m​

The natural frequency of the system is,

f = 1/2π √[k/m]

substitute the values in the above equation.

f = 1/2π √[1000/10]

continue the further calculation

f = 1/2π √[100]

f = 1/2π (10)

f = 5/π

Therefore, the value of the natural frequency is,  1.59 Hz.
