In the given figure;

q and an angle of 50° lie on line M

☆ By Linear Pair of Angles Property,

q + 50° = 180°

⇒ q = 180° - 50°

∴ q = 130°

Since, line M and line L are straight lines,

☆ By Vertically Opposite Angles,

p = 50°
