Let's understand :-

By observing we xan say that the two angles are on Straight line.They are also called as supplementary adjacent angles. i.e their sum is 180°.

Solution :-

Given Two angle = 5x , 4x.

$\sf\implies$ 5x + 4x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = $\sf\frac{180°}{9}$

x = 20°.

$\sf\therefore$ First angle = 5x = 5 × 20° = 100°

Second angle = 4x = 4 × 20° = 80°.
