To Find :-

Value of 'x'.

Let's understand :-

By observing we xan say that the two angles are on Straight line.They are also called as supplementary adjacent angles. i.e their sum is 180°.

Solution :-

Given Two angle = 5x , 4x.

\sf\implies 5x + 4x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = \sf\frac{180°}{9}

x = 20°.

\sf\therefore First angle = 5x = 5 × 20° = 100°

Second angle = 4x = 4 × 20° = 80°.

If sum of two Angles is 180° then we call those angles as Supplementary Angles.

  • Complementary Angles :-
