(x + 3) + (x + 20) + (x + 7) = 180 \\ 3x + 30 = 180 \\ 3x = 180 - 30 \\ 3x = 150 \\ x =  \frac{150}{3}  \\  x = 50

Given

∠EBD =(x+3)°

∠CBD=(x+20)°

∠CBF=(x+7)°

To Find

Value of x ?

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Some Properties of Triangle

  • A triangle ∆ABC have 3 sides with 3 angles which can be represent as ∠A ,∠B and∠C
  • The sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°
  • The sum of two sides is always greater than the third side.

Now ,here we use angle sum property because here three angles are given and we have to find the value of x.

∠EBD +∠CBD+∠CBF=180°( angle sum property)

(x+3)°+(x+20)°+(x+7)°=180°

3x+30=180°

3x=180-30=150°

x=150/3=50

x=50°

Now finding angles

First angle is (x+3)°=50+3=53°

Second angle is (x+20°)=50+20=70°

Third angle is (x+7)°=50+7=57°

=>53°+70°+57°=180°
