X=125°-55°

X=70°

Angle sum property of triangles

70°+55°+Y=180°

Y=180°-125°

Y=55°

we know

125=55+x(if a side of a triangle is produced then the exterior angle so formed is the sum of the two interior opposite angles)

that is

55+x=125

x=125-55

x=70°

therefore the value of x=70°

now we've to find y

here

125+y=180(linear pair/adjacent angles are supplementary)

y=180-125

y=55°

therefore the value of y=55°

or else you can find y using

y+x+55=180°(sum of all interior angles of a triangle are supplementary)

y+70+55=180

y+125=180

y=180-125

y=55°

either way, answer is same
