According to the problem,

55° + 5x - 20 + 45° = 180°

55° + 5x - 20 = 180° - 45°

55° + 5x = 135° + 20

5x = 155° - 55°

5x = 100°

x = 100°/5

x = 20°.

Thus, x = 20°.
