Answer:

15°

Step-by-step explanation:

angle A=angle B

(interior opposite Angle in isosceles triangle)

50°=2x+20°

50°-20°=2x

30°=2x

15°=x

Given,

\[\begin{array}{l}AB = 6cm\\BC = 5cm\\AC = 5cm\\\angle B = 50^\circ \\\angle A = 2x + 20^\circ \end{array}\]

Solution,

Calculate the value of x.

According to triangular property if two sides of the triangle are of equal length then their corresponding angles will also be same.

\[\begin{array}{l}BC = AC\\ \Rightarrow \angle A = \angle B\\ \Rightarrow 2x + 20^\circ = 50^\circ \\ \Rightarrow 2x = 30^\circ \\ \Rightarrow x = 15^\circ \end{array}\]

Hence the value of x is \[15 \].
