Answer:

a= 150 degree

b= 110 degree

let us name the figure A, B, C, D

AB be the straight line

a+30=180

a = 180-30

a = 150 degree

similarly CD be the straight line

b+70= 180

b = 180- 70

b = 110 degree

let the upper line be PQ and the bottom line be RS.

PQ and RS are parallel.

angle a = 70° ( interior alternate angles)

angle b = 30° ( interior alternate angles)
