40 + 15+ z = 180° (sum of all angles of triangles.)

55+ z = 180

z = 180 - 55

z = 125°

z + y = 180 ( linear pair )

125 + y = 180

y = 180 -125

y = 55°

then, In ∆ TRS

x = y + 45 ( exterior angle is equals to sum of two opposite interior angle.)

x = 55+45

x = 100.
