  \implies \angle BDE + \angle DBE = \angle AED

( exterior angle sum property )

\implies  40⁰ + \angle x = 130⁰

  \implies \angle x = 130⁰ - 40⁰

  \implies \angle x = 90⁰

again ,

\implies \angle EBC +   \angle x = 180⁰ ( linear pair )

\implies \angle EBC = 180⁰ - 90⁰

  \implies \angle EBC = 90⁰

let ,

\implies    \angle  ACB = y⁰

   \therefore

  \implies  \angle  ACB + y⁰ +  \angle  ABC = 180⁰

( angle sum property of ∆ )

 \implies  y⁰ + y⁰ + 90⁰ = 180⁰

  \implies 2y⁰ = 180⁰ - 90⁰

  \implies y⁰ =   \frac{90⁰}{2}
