\rm\bf\underline{Question:}

In the given figure,

Given BAC = 60°, ZBCA = 50°, find ADC

\rm\bf\underline{Solution:}

∠ADC = 60° if in the given figure BC is a diameter of the circle and ∠bao is equal to 60°

in Δ OAB

OA = OB = Radius

=> ∠ABO = ∠BAO

=> ∠ABO = 60°

∠ABC = ∠ABO  ( as O lies on BC)

=>∠ABC = 60°

∠ADC = ∠ABC  ( as angles formed in same arc segment by same vhord AC)

=> ∠ADC = 60°

Answer:

So ∠ A + ∠ E = 180 ° (Sum of opposite pair of angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is 180°.) Hence, ∠ B D C = 60° and ∠ B E C = 120 ° .
