AB = 15cm

BC = AD = 13cm

CD = 25cm

As the both sides of this Trapazuim are equal, so it is an isosceles Trapazuim.

So, 2DE + AB = DC

2DE = DC - AB

2DE = 25 - 15

2DE = 10

DE = 5 cm

By Pythagorean theorem,

  •  {(ad)}^{2}  +  {(de)}^{2}  =  {(ae)}^{2}
  •  {(13)}^{2}  +  {(5)}^{2}  =  {(ae)}^{2}
  • 169 + 25 =  {(ae)}^{2}
  • 194 =  {(ae)}^{2}
  • ae =  \sqrt{194}
