\bf\:{\underline{Given}}:-

  • AB || CD and EF ⊥ CD

  • ∠GED = 126°

To find :-

  • ∠AGE , ∠GEF , ∠FGE

Solution :-

∠GEF + ∠FED = 126°

∠ GEF + 90° = 126°

∠GEF = 126° - 90°

∠ GEF = 36°

Now,

∠ AGE and ∠GED are alternate interior angles

so,

∠AGE = ∠GED = 126°

Then,

∠ AGE + ∠FGE = 180° (linear pair)

126° + ∠FGE = 180°

∠FGE = 180° - 126°

∠FGE = 54°

Hence,

  • ∠AGE = 126°

  • ∠GEF = 36° and,

  • ∠FGE = 54°

Linear pair :- A pair of adjacent angles whose sum is a straight line (180°) is known as linear pair.
