in the given figure if ab is equal to AC and BD is equal to CD then find angle ADB

In triangle ABD and ACD

AB=AC

BD=CD

and AD is common

so triangle ABD is equivalent to triangle ACD

=>angle ADB=angle ADC

here ADB+ADC=180°

=>2ADB=180°

=>ADB=180°/2=90°

hence angle ADB is 90°
