In the given figure, if ABCD is a parallelogram, then find the value of p and q. If AO = 20 cm, OC = (q+7) cm, OB = (p+q) cm and OD = 16 cm.

∴ AO=OC and BO=OD

⇒ BD=2×OD=2×2cm=4cm

∴ The length of the diagonals AC and BD are 6cm and 4cm.
