in the given figure , if AC=BC= 4cm and angle A =40 , then find angle DCE. it is a figure of a triangle where C is extended to E from down and C is extended to D from the right of C

To find= Unknown Angle of similar triangle

Explanation= Since in triangle ABC two sides are given equal AC=BC it is proved that it is a Isosceles triangle so the two angles of triangle CBA and ACB are equal as these sides are equal and angle CAB is 40(given).

Taking the unknown angle as x, we find that : 40+x+x=180, where 2x=140 and x=70.

Therefore angle ACB and CBA is 70 degrees.

The other tringle DCE is similarly an isosceles triangle and angle DCE is alternate opposite to angle ACB . Therefore angle DCE is 70 degrees.
