In the
given figure if Ac = BD; show that AB = CD.​

AC = BD

AB = CD

\huge\bold\purple{{Proof:-}}

AC = BD (given)---------------(i)

AC = AB + BC ( point B lines between A and C)-------------------(ii)

BD = BC + CD ( point C lines between B and D)----------------------(iii)

substituting for AC and BD from (ii) and (iii) in (i) we get,

AB + BC = BC + CD

AB = CD

hence, proved...............
