given figure if Ac = BD; show that AB = CD.​

$AC = BD$

$AB = CD$

$\huge\bold\purple{{Proof:-}}$

$AC = BD$ (given)---------------(i)

$AC = AB + BC$( point B lines between A and C)-------------------(ii)

$BD = BC + CD$ ( point C lines between B and D)----------------------(iii)

substituting for AC and BD from (ii) and (iii) in (i) we get,

$AB + BC = BC + CD$

$AB = CD$

hence, proved...............
